Track Switches are designed for installation in places where it is necessary or desirable to run rails in different directions. The Track Switch can be operated through a button on the hand control and draws power from the lift to operate. A switch can also be mounted on the wall and the Track Switch would be wired directly to power above the ceiling and can be recessed into the ceiling. Safe Working load 600LBS.
A Carousel is designed for rail to run multiple directions. The Carousel can be operated through a button on the hand control and draws power from the lift to operate. A switch can also be mounted on the wall and the Carousel would be wired directly to power above the ceiling and can be recessed into the ceiling. Safe Working load 600LBS.
A Gate is used to link two rail systems together. For example, a XY to a liner rail into a bathroom. The gate locks the two rails together, then latches open to allow the lift to pass through. The Gate can be operated through a button on the hand control, drawing power from the lift to operate. A switch can also be mounted on the wall and the Gate would be wired directly to power above the ceiling. Safe Working load 600LBS.
2 and 4 pole Free Standing systems are options when the structure of the walls and ceiling will not accept anchors or the system is for temporary use. Please find more information under Free Standing Frame, In the Ceiling Lifts Section.
Wall Saddles and Wall Pole
Wall Saddles and Wall Pole can be used where the deck will not support the system or where there are many unbridgeable obstructions between the ceiling and deck. Multiple adaptors of each can be used to work around obstacles, such as windows and doors.
Wall Saddle: Used when the wall construction will support an anchor.
Wall Pole: Option when the wall or ceiling will not support an anchor. They are supported primarily by the floor and are secured to dry wall for stability.
